Due to many advancements in dental technology, there are many options for replacing a missing tooth or multiple teeth. Replacing missing teeth can serve many functions, such as restoring the ability to chew food and smile with confidence.

A bridge is a prosthesis which restores the space (left by a missing tooth/teeth) by attaching a restoration to the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth. The great advantage to a bridge is how quickly we can restore the missing tooth. Due to advancements in CAD/CAM technology, we can often times replace the missing tooth with a bridge in one appointment. 

A dental implant serves as an artificial root which then anchors the replacement tooth in place. It requires multiple procedures in which a titanium implant is placed into the bone and a ceramic crown is placed on top. There are many great advantages to an implant, such as preservation of bone structure.
