Edward Montoya, DMDDentist
Dr. Edward Montoya graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2007. He served 5 years in the United States Army where he obtained advanced training in complex restorative dentistry.
Having had the honor of serving stateside, as well as overseas in Afghanistan, Dr. Montoya has a special place in his heart for active duty soldiers and veterans of the military.
Dr. Montoya utilizes a blend of artistry and technology to help patients achieve their healthiest and most beautiful smile. His expertise ranges from routine check ups to cosmetic porcelain veneers, dental implants, crowns and bridges.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Montoya enjoys exercising, playing and watching sports. Most of all, he values spending time with his wife and his kids, Matthew and Michelle.
Professional affiliations include: The American Academy of Osseointegration, CDOCS, and The
American Dental Association.
Jennifer Kang, DMDDentist
Dr. Jennifer Kang graduated in 2008 from Tufts University with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. As a general dentist, Dr. Jenn believes in catering to each patient’s unique individual needs to provide a wonderful dental experience.
Children hold a special place in Dr. Jenn’s heart. She believes in dental care that is approached with enthusiasm, positive reinforcement and success. She and her team strives to make each child feel welcomed, individual and successful.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family discovering the beauty of the Central Coast. Her husband and kids, Matt and Michelle, always keeps her happy and busy.
MichelleRegistered Dental Assistant
Michelle has worked in the dental field for 30 years. After graduating from Atascadero High school she attended Cuesta College. During this time she was given an opportunity to work in a dental office and she discovered her passion for dentistry.
Being a dental assistant has been a fulfilling and evolving career for her, with many exciting changes in the field of modern dentistry. She truly enjoys caring for patients, helping to make their experience positive and pain free. Her daughters, Madison and Maison, and her husband, Steve, are the light of her life. They enjoy family dinners, watching the Dodgers and hiking around the Central Coast.
RachelRegistered Dental Assistant
Rachel has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1997 and has proudly been part of the Montoya Family Dental team for the past eight years. With over 25 years of experience in the dental field, including 15 years in pediatric dentistry, she brings warmth, skill, and compassion to every patient she meets.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family on any adventure—whether it’s traveling, game nights, or just relaxing with a good movie. She also loves checking out new fitness classes at Kennedy and helping her husband with home projects.
BrittanyRegistered Dental Assistant
Brittany was born and raised in Paso Robles and began her career in the dental field in 2009. She finds the most rewarding part of her work is helping patients feel confident by achieving a healthy, beautiful smile. Known for her hard work and dedication, Brittany is a valued member of the MDF team.
Outside of the office, Brittany enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two children. As a family, they love making the most of every season—spending summer days at the lake and heading to the desert for off-roading adventures in the winter.
Michelle C. Schedule Coordinator / Financial Coordinator
Michelle began her dental career in 1993 and brought her talents to Montoya Family Dental in 2020. She married her high school sweetheart and is the proud mom of three daughters—with her family growing even more thanks to a crew of adorable grandkids!
When she’s not at the office, Michelle loves spending time with her grandchildren and family, heading out on camping adventures, wine tasting, and hanging out with her chocolate lab.
What she loves most about her role? Helping patients get the most out of their insurance and supporting them on the path to a healthy, confident smile. She especially values the relationships she builds with patients along the way.

MeghanRegistered Dental Assistant
Meghan our talented dental hygienist, has been part of the dental field for over 13 years. She began her career as a registered dental assistant before graduating from dental hygiene school and earning her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.
Meghan is passionate about her work because it allows her to connect with people from all walks of life and help them achieve healthier, more confident smiles. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
AmberRegistered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice
Amber began her journey in dentistry in 1995 as a dental assistant. While attending Pasadena City College, she worked as a registered dental assistant, office manager, and surgical assistant—experiences that solidified her passion for patient care and inspired her to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Before entering hygiene school, she also shared her knowledge as an instructor at Northwest College vocational school.
In 2005, Amber graduated from the dental hygiene program at West Los Angeles College and soon after relocated to California’s Central Coast. Her dedication to providing quality care led her to further her education, and in February 2023, she became a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP). This expanded license allows her to bring essential dental care directly to homebound and disabled patients—something she feels deeply honored to do.
Outside of her professional life, Amber is a proud mother to three amazing kids and is married to her wonderfully supportive husband.

Kayla has been working in the dental field since 2014 and brings years of experience and compassion to our team.
Growing up on the Central Coast, she has a deep appreciation for the community she serves. Kayla enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair and loves the way dentistry combines art and science to create beautiful, healthy smiles.
Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her husband, two boys, and stepdaughter.
MegganSchedule Coordinator
Meggan has been in the dental field since 2011. She started as a dental assistant and made her way to the front office.
Originally from the Central Valley she moved to Paso Robles in 2019. She is dedicated to helping with every step of your dental visit, from scheduling treatment, helping to arrange financing and understanding your treatment plan, and educating patients on the importance of their dental procedures.
When she's not in the office, Meggan loves spending quality time with her husband, Vic, their daughter, Masen, and their 2 dogs.
ZabrinaInsurance Coordinator
Zabrina is our Insurance Coordinator, bringing over six years of experience in dental insurance, billing, and patient scheduling. She’s passionate about making each patient’s visit seamless and stress-free by handling the details behind the scenes with care and precision.
A Central Coast native, she enjoys quiet moments with a good book, adventures with her family and pets, and all things Disney—especially trips to Disneyland, her favorite place to reconnect with a little magic.
